Creamy Chicken Crescent Casserole

Filling
- 6 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature

Sauce
- 1 10.75-ounce can cream of chicken soup condensed
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated for rich flavor
- ⅔ cup heavy cream for smooth consistency
- ¾ teaspoon seasoned salt or to taste
- 1 ¼ cups cheddar cheese for topping freshly grated
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
Prepare the filling by combining the cream cheese, butter, garlic powder, and seasoned salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix until fully smooth.
Stir in the chicken and 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
Add the heavy cream to the mixture and fold until everything is well incorporated.
Unroll the crescent dough and place about 2 tablespoons of filling at the wider end of each triangle. Roll up tightly and pinch edges to seal.
Place the filled rolls seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
In a medium saucepan, combine the cream of chicken soup, 1 cup cheddar cheese, heavy cream, and seasoned salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring often, until smooth and warmed through.
Pour the sauce evenly over the crescent rolls, then sprinkle the remaining 1 ¼ cups of cheddar cheese on top.
Bake for 35 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden and the sauce is bubbling.
Remove from oven and serve hot for a comforting meal.
