Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Prepare the filling by combining the cream cheese, butter, garlic powder, and seasoned salt in a large mixing bowl. Mix until fully smooth.
- Stir in the chicken and 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
- Add the heavy cream to the mixture and fold until everything is well incorporated.
- Unroll the crescent dough and place about 2 tablespoons of filling at the wider end of each triangle. Roll up tightly and pinch edges to seal.
- Place the filled rolls seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cream of chicken soup, 1 cup cheddar cheese, heavy cream, and seasoned salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring often, until smooth and warmed through.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the crescent rolls, then sprinkle the remaining 1 ¼ cups of cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden and the sauce is bubbling.
- Remove from oven and serve hot for a comforting meal.
