Keyword: chocolate clusters, frozen dessert, healthy treats, strawberry yogurt
- 1 ½ cups chopped strawberries fresh hulled
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt unsweetened
- 1 tablespoon honey raw or local
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract pure
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips dairy or non-dairy
- 2 tablespoon coconut oil refined or virgin
Add the chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to a large bowl. Mix well until fully combined.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture and place it onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or large plate, forming clusters. You should make about 10 clusters.
Place the baking sheet with yogurt clusters into the freezer. Freeze until completely solid, about 1-2 hours.
Once the clusters are frozen, melt the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 15–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer. Dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated, using a spoon for precision.
Return the chocolate-coated clusters to the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
Place the clusters back into the freezer for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to harden and the yogurt to firm up. Enjoy!
These delicious clusters are perfect for a healthy snack or dessert, combining the sweet and tangy flavor of strawberries with creamy Greek yogurt and a touch of chocolate. The best part? They're freezer-friendly for when the craving strikes!
