Ingredients

  • 1 rotisserie chicken shredded about 3-4 cups shredded chicken
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce for spicy flavor
  • ½ cup ranch dressing creamy base for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning for added spice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper to taste
  • 2 packages King's Hawaiian rolls 12 count each soft, sweet slider buns
  • 8 ounces shredded monterey jack cheese for melting

For the topping:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted for brushing the rolls
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning for herby flavor

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a large baking dish or rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Shred the rotisserie chicken and place it in a bowl. Add the buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Without separating the rolls, use a large serrated knife to slice the rolls in half horizontally, like you would slice a bagel. Arrange the bottom halves in the prepared baking pan, cut side up.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the bottom rolls, then spread the chicken mixture on top. Finish by sprinkling the remaining cheese over the chicken.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls on top of the cheese and chicken.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  • Bake the sliders for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
  • If desired, serve the sliders with coleslaw either inside the slider or as a side.

Notes

These sliders are perfect for a game day snack or casual get-together. Feel free to serve them with coleslaw for extra crunch!
